Recently, SRYLED held a special Dragon Boat Festival event, which turned out to be very interesting and meaningful. The event was not only a celebration of the traditional Chinese festival but also an opportunity for colleagues who will soon be attending the IC23 Infocomm exhibition in the United States to bond and practice teamwork.
The event kicked off with a lesson in making zongzi, a traditional Chinese food often eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival. Although some of us were initially unsure how to make zongzi, we all put in our best effort and learned from our colleagues who were more experienced. This process brought us closer together, as we learned about each other’s strengths and weaknesses and worked collaboratively towards a common goal.
Making zongzi wasn’t the only activity we did during the event. We also played games that helped us get to know each other better and learn more about Chinese culture. One game involved asking and answering questions about ourselves, while another game tested our knowledge of Dragon Boat Festival traditions. These activities were not only fun but also helped to break the ice and foster a sense of camaraderie among us.
As we cooked the zongzi, we shared stories about why we came to Shenzhen and what motivates us in our lives. It was inspiring to hear everyone’s different experiences and aspirations, and it made us feel more connected as a team. Later, our director shared the history of SRYLED and the challenges the company has overcome over the years. This gave us a greater appreciation for the company’s values and mission, and we felt more proud to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.
Overall, the Dragon Boat Festival event was a great success. Not only did we get to celebrate a traditional Chinese festival, but we also had the opportunity to bond with our colleagues and learn more about each other and the company we work for. It reminded us of the importance of teamwork, communication, and cultural exchange in promoting a positive work environment. We are grateful to SRYLED for organizing such a meaningful event, and we look forward to future occasions where we can come together as a team.
